Khanjee Infrastructure Development (KID) LLC is primarily a developer and investor of large infrastructure projects in energy, telecommunications and real estate sectors. Sponsors, owners and management of Khanjee are among pioneers of non-recourse project financing, now the worldwide standard for infrastructure projects.

Additionally, the team has extensive understanding of the complexities of global projects, and has had presence in several geographic regions, which include Europe, Middle East, and the Far East.

The Khanjee family story begins in the mid-sixties when the sponsors and owners of Khanjee started their business activities in the Middle East and Asia and later expanded rapidly into the West, primarily Europe. During the late eighties and early nineties, after immense success in commodity trading, representation and consulting the group diversified into direct investments of its own in large infrastructure and real estate projects, with a focus on power generation, oil & gas refineries and telecommunication. Shortly after, the group diversified into aviation, banking & finance, construction management, hospitality and real estate development.
